Our Outreach Ministries

From our commitment to the Norcross Cooperative Ministries  to our operation of a preschool program for the community, Peachtree Corners Christian Church is a "hands-on" serving congregation.

  • First Atlanta Chinese Christian Church
Our sister congregation, First Atlanta Chinese Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), meets at the church each Sunday at 2:30 pm for worship.  The Pastor is Rev. Michael Zhu.  Other prayer groups and Bible studies are scheduled throughout the week.

  • Norcross Cooperative Ministries (NCM)
People in the area can count on Norcross Cooperative Ministries when they are in need.  The s
ervice area includes Norcross and the Gwinnett County portions of Tucker and Doraville.  Services include food, clothing, financial aid, job ministry, classes in English for speakers of other languages, and small groups.  Peachtree Corners Christian Church sends financial contributions to NCM in addition to collecting food and clothing throughout the year.  We also brighten the holidays of families in need by providing food for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.  Other efforts, such as our VBS-in-a-box, are hands-on ministry opportunities.

  • Gwinnett Children's Shelter
Established in 1986 by three women from the Gwinnett PTA, the shelter was established as a place of refuge for Gwinnett's abused and abandoned children.  The $2.5 million Blueprint of Hope campaign has already raised $2 million to develop a new 125 acre campus for the program including a new building to house up to 26 boys and girls under the age of 12.  We will be giving some of this year's pumpkin proceeds to this needy ministry in Gwinnett County.  We participate in various ways throughout the year, including special drives such as for school supplies, as well as hands-on ministry.

  • Campbell-Stone Christian Center
Our church supports the Fellowship of John, an assistance program of Campbell-Stone Christian Center, a senior retirement center.  Residents at this facility for low income seniors, often do not have enough money left over each month to pay for major health costs such as false teeth, eyeglasses, and prescription drugs.  We contribute to this fund monthly.

  • Camp Balaam at Camp Christian Conference Center
A portion of our annual Pumpkin Patch proceeds will provide scholarships for inner city children to attend Camp Balaam, a summer camp experience in rural middle Georgia at beautiful Camp Christian.

  • Annandale Village
Located in Suwanee, Annandale is a privately endowed non-profit center that provides a natural and serene environment for adults with developmental disabilities.  During the growing season, when the harvest is bountiful, freshly grown vegetables are donated on a weekly basis from a vegetable garden cultivated on church property.

  • Annual "Pumpkin Patch" in October
    (for various local outreach ministries)

A portion of the the congregation's tithes and offerings to the church help support all of our outreach ministries. We encourage our members to give the first fruits of their income, and the church likewise gives of the first fruits of its budget to others, in addition to the proceeds from our Pumpkin Patch.
